Man's body found at Kogarah Bay

16/05/2008 4:03:00 PM
The body of a man aged in his 50s was found washed up on the shores of Kogarah Bay on Friday morning.

A passer-by walking along Endeavour Street, Sans Souci, near Botany Bay Yacht Club, made the grim discovery about 8.15am.

The body was fully-clothed and wearing work boots but a police spokesman said he had not yet been formally identified.

He said the man's death was not being treated as suspicious and it appeared the man had accidentally fallen from a boat and died.

"A post mortem will be conducted to identify the man and the cause of death," the spokesman said.
