Kogarah marches on

KOGARAH Marist school advanced to the next stage of the schoolboy Arrive Alive competition by defeating Cronulla regional qualifiers, Aquinas College Menai.

The hard-fought match resulted in a Kogarah victory, 20-16. Kogarah defeated Oatley Senior College, Christian Brothers Lewisham and Kingsgrove High to win the St George region of the knockout event.

Kogarah will now face LaSalle Catholic College Bankstown after LaSalle's victory over Eagle Vale High School on Friday.

The winner will progress into the final-16 stage of the tournament. Endeavour Sports High School have automatic qualification into the final-16 round.
